        FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIES

  • new ergonomic design;
  • powerful UV-light source (total capacity 12 W);
  • special slot in the rare panel is designed for convenient placement of large document up to A4 format;
  • new fail-safe circuit solution of the electronic ballast allows enhanced effective level and reliability of the UV-lamps;
  • unique colour for each model;
  • dark color of the inner part of the device guarantees absence of light flares even in very bright room light.;
  • viewing zone of the device contains a measuring scale for simple control in the white transmitted light (DORS 125,
    DORS 135 and DORS 145);
  • optionally connected optical magnifier DORS 10 and visuailizer DORS 15 (DORS 135 and
    DORS 145);
  • LED source of reflected oblique white light is used for reflected light control (DORS 145).

         VISUAL CONTROL TYPES:

    1. Ultraviolet Control.

    Provides secure authenticity verification of the following protective features on bank notes and documents:

    • absence of general paper luminescence background;
    • presence of luminescence areas (marks, fibers, image fragments)

     

    2. Reflected White Light Control.

    Provides verification of the following features:

    • printing types;
    • printing methods;
    • image fragments, made by optically variable inks;
    • security holograms;
    • latent images;
    • revealing printing defects and possible erasures. 

     

    3. Transmitted White Light Control.

    Provide verification of the following protective features:

    • watermarks;
    • security threads;
    • micro perforation;
    • matching images of the face and reverse sides of bank note.  

     

    4. Size Control.

    Millimeter scale on the matt bottom glass provides verification of the bank note size, location of protective marks, also measure size of the lost fragment (fitness for use as currency).

     

    5. Reflected Oblique White Light Control with 10x magnification.

    Remote optical magnifier with built-in white lighting DORS 10 provides detailed investigation of:

    • printing types and methods;
    • graphical security features (micro text, micro images, fine-line netting, etc.);
    • latent images;
    • security holograms;
    • printing defects;
    • erasures.

     

    CONTACT CONTROL TYPES:

     

    6. Magnetic Control.

    Remote visuailizer of magnetic and infrared marks DORS 15 provides verification of special protective marks, texts and images, made by ferromagnetic inks.

    7. Infrared Control.

    Remote visuailizer of magnetic and infrared marks DORS 15 provides verification of images made by IR-metameric inks.
